When speaking of the dangerous war that is developing between fundamentalist Iran and democratic and western Israel, the solidarity and moral support of the free Cubans cannot be behind the friends of our enemies, or behind an extremist regime that threatens, with terrorist rhetoric, the total destruction of Israel along with the United States of America.

The CUBAN NATIONAL CONGRESS'S moral support and solidarity is now and will always be in favor of liberty, democracy, world peace, and global security.
And if we may say more, now is the moment to give to that democratic majority among the Iranian people, oppressed by the fanatic militias of the Revolutionary Guard and fundamentalist religious groups, the opportunity and the way to the construction of a modern, democratic, republican, and free Iran.
We must reinvent Cuba into a New Cuba, democratic and republican, capitalist and Christian, as the majority of our people desire and dream of.
In the fight for Cuba's freedom, some people think the fall of the Iron Curtain can be used as an example, but this is not the case.
